Two time champion in the Ranking of Energy Cogeneration

In 2018, 188 plants in the country used sugarcane biomass to generate 21,46 TWh of bioenergy, and CerradinhoBio won first place in individual performance, according to NovaCana.com, which compares annually the operating results of the Brazil.

Seven times Champion in Sugarcane Yield of Goiás state

The awards made by the IDEA and CTC groups evaluate the results obtained in all the plants in the center-south of Brazil and granted CerradinhoBio the 1st place in Sugarcane yield in the state of Goiás for the 7th consecutive harvest. The award ceremony took place in the city of Ribeirão Preto/SP, during the 21th Sugarcane Mechanization and Production Seminar, where the numbers of CerradinhoBio were presented.

Agro Vision Award

The award honors annually mills, distilleries and companies that supply products and services throughout Brazil, as well as visionary entrepreneurs who excelled in areas of transformation and production in sugarcane agribusiness, and made the difference within the national sugar and ethanol market in their respective area of production performance. CerradinhoBio is a six-year champion and, in 2018, was highlighted in the categories of "Energy Generation and Cogeneration" and "Investments and Expansions".

MasterCana Brazil 2017

The MASTER CANA BRASIL AWARD recognizes the actions and initiatives of human, technological and socioeconomic improvement of the sugar-energy sector. The Chairman of the Board, Luciano Sanches Fernandes, was awarded the MasterCana Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2017. CerradinhoBio was awarded the MasterCana Award for Performance in Bioelectricity.

"Empresa Mais" Award - Estadão newspaper

CerradinhoBio ranked 1st among the Featured Companies from Midwest region of the "Empresa Mais" award, from Estadão, one of the most important newspapers of São Paulo. The award was presented at an event attended by representatives of the largest companies in the country, as well as political authorities, such as Finance Minister Henrique Meirelles. Developed in partnership with FIA and Austin Rating, Empresas Mais analyzes a database of 1,500 companies and takes into account the economic performance of the business and also corporate governance initiatives.

Melhores & Maiores is a publication of Exame Magazine, known as the "Business Bible", is no longer known as a business of greater credibility in the business world. CerradinhoBio reached 692th place in the ranking of the 1.000 largest in sales in Brazil, the 186th place among the 400 largest agribusiness sales in Brazil, the 49th place among the 100 largest in a net reflection of the center-west region and the 98th position among the 100 largest in investment.

The Major of ICMS 2016

Main companies collecting the Tax on the Circulation of Goods and Services (ICMS) in the state of Goiás. The event was conducted by the O POPULAR newspaper and the Government of Goiás, through the Treasury Department.

Leading companies, mills and entities of the country‘s sugarcane industry were gathered in Sao Paulo for the MasterCana Brazil award, which recognizes actions and iniciatives towards to human, technological and socioeconomic enhancement of the sugarcane industry. CerradinhoBio attended the event, represented by Luciano Sanches Fernandes, Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO, who received the Best of the Year Award in the Sugarcane Industry, in the MasterCana Bioenergy Performance category.

An initiative by the Gerhai and ProCana Brasil groups, which aims to encourage, recognize and give awards to the Year‘s Best in the Sucro-Energetic Sector, in the areas of Strategy & Management, Commercial/Financial Management, Information Technology, Energy Cogeneration, Products Diversification, Process Automation/Control, Industrial Efficiency, Sugar Production Technology, Ethanol Production Technology, Agricultural Technology, CCT and Mechanization, in addition to socio-environmental responsibility practices that contribute to promoting social well-being and sustainable development.

CerradinhoBio received the 2013 Performance - Bioenergy award, and in the Sustainability and Environmental category, came in second place with its SUSTAINABLE WASTE project.

Largest ICMS Collectors

The main ICMS (Tax on Circulation of Goods and Services) collecting companies in the Brazilian Southwest and West and the City Halls that shelter these companies. This promotion was a partnership between O POPULAR newspaper and the Goiás state government.

2012 Brazil Produces Award

Awarded by the São Paulo State Federation of Agriculture (FAESP) and Editora Racar to agribusiness companies that invest in sustainability and promote social initiatives. CerradinhoBio won two awards, occupying 1st place in Environmental Responsibility, and 2nd place with is Social Responsibility work.

Céu Chapadense Honorary Citizen

Title given to CerradinhoBio Chief Executive Officer Luciano Sanches Fernandes, and to Agricultural Business manager José Miguel Mendes in 2012, when Chapadão do Céu was celebrating 30 years of political emancipation.

Company of the Year

Award from the Municipal Chamber of Chapadão do Sul (MS), delivered to CerradinhoBio in 2011 and 2012, for the development it brought the region.

Brazilian Institute of Petroleum, Gas and Biofuel (IBP)

Inclusion of CerradinhoBio‘s Eco-Efficient Station, a partnership with Ipiranga Group, as an exemplary case study in Corporate Social Responsibility Best Practices in the Petroleum, Gas and Biofuel Industry, launched at the 2012 Rio Oil & Gas Trade Fair, bringing together initiatives by companies chosen by IBP‘s Social Responsibility commission.

Brazilian Institute of Corporate Governance (IBGC)

CerradinhoBio was one of three family businesses not listed (privately traded corporation) from São Paulo analyzed as exemplary case studies in the application of this practice during the 12th International Corporate Governance Convention, held in 2011. It was included in Volume 4 of the Privately Traded Family Businesses Case Study.

2011/2012 Development Vision Award

Attributed to companies in the food sector that stand out in terms of job and income creation, as well as for contributions to the state‘s industrial development. CerradinhoBio received an award for its management and entrepreneurship. The choice was made by the Goiás State Federation of Industries and trade associations for the Dairy, Beef and Derivative Products, Sugar and Ethanol, Coffee and Food industries (Sindileite, Sindicarne, Sifaeg, Sifaçúcar, Sincafé and Siaa).
